That is the word of the day, week, month and year! I am starting new...

There are a lot of things I want to do this year, lots I want to change, and look at things differently as well. I need to understand that my opinions are just that, and I can only do and say so much for it to make a difference.

My goals for this year are to pray more, lose my last 25-30 pounds, exercise daily, stay positive, and more time with my husband and children.

This is an easy list, I just have to do it. Happy New Year, and I hope that your goals are achieved as well!

With school back in session, it brings back so many memories from the elementary days...because face it, I dont want to remember High School days! This weekend I attended a bridal shower for my best friend from Kindergarten, we just talked about the good ole days. SHe lives in FLorida now, so we rarely see each other.

2. The cafeteria--the same smell everyday of yeast rolls and chicken nuggets.
3. 50's dance...yes I went!
4. My favorite teacher in the world, Mrs. Davenport...I wonder how she is these days?

7. Being the tallest kid
8. Having the nickname of Beanpole! (I was super skinny)
9. Playing softball and pitching 12 games straight. Remember that one mom?

Top Ten Tuesday--Why I hate DISH Network

Yes, today I spend half the day on the phone with a dumb company called DISH Network...DO NOT USE THEM. We have been with them for 7 years now, and our bill just seems to keep creeping up!

Here are the top ten reasons why you should NEVER use them!

1. No respect on the other end of the line, even from a manager.
2. They charge you TWICE for a maintence fee, $8.00
3. They charge YOU to come and look at why your TV is not working, when YOU are not the problem!
4. That charge is a seperate $95.00, if you dont have the required $8.00 maintenence fee.
5. They randomly add charges every now and again
6. WHen they ask you why you want to cancel, and you tell them, there is a horrible silence.
7. DIRECT TV has a greta deal right now and the husband will be able to have NFL ticket all football season for FREE!
8. DIRECT TV salesman encourages me to throw the DISH off the roof and burn it...(I think he may have some issues)
9. Did I mention they charge to come out and just LOOK at why your TV is messing up?
10. 7 years of money them and no love back.

OK, so the point to all of this is, 7 years ago I would have told you to get DISH. Today I say keep your money and go elsewhere.

I LONG for Fall! This heat is killing me. I have no motivation to go and run, which I need to do. I have 30 more pounds to lose until CHristmas, which was my original goal. I am halfway there!

The kids are doing great! Ashlynn is out of speech therapy, but now in play therapy for her fear of animals, specifically dogs and cats. I am praying this works for her. It is so sad!

Anyways, I have so many things planned for the fall! Runs, mini vacation, a HALF marathon, and much more. Let the leaves begin to change! PLEASE!

Weight Watchers

I have been on Weight Watchers since January 7th. Its very new to me, but I have started to love it. So far, as of this past Tuesday, I am down 13.4 pounds! My goal is about 40-50 more. I am staying motivated, my mom is on it with me, and a couple of girls at work so I have the support system, which always helps! I hope and pray I can stay on this new journey!

Is it bad that my 3 year old is obsessed with Hannah Montana??? I really do not even know how it started. She will put her sunglasses on, get out a pen, used as a microphone, and start singing "I might even be a rockstar." It is hilarious! I know she watches it some at the sitters house, and we will watch it now and then at home but she knows all about her...

Top Ten Tuesday--Things I will do different next year.

This year has been crazy! A new baby, my daughter turned 3, two more nieces were born, stuck at the same job, deaths in the family to cancer...I could go on and on. I have been thinking a lot and these are the top ten things I will be doing differently next year. They are "resolutions" but just a mind set change for myself!

1. Positivity--so many times at church I have heard this preached, to be positive, God is looking out for you, etc etc etc. Right now we are in a message series and its amazing. I need to stay positive, and hopeful!

2. Excercise DAILY--I walk about 3 days a week now, but I want to run daily. I do 5K's about every other month, but I want to be in shape, running to be my hobby, and have something to show for it!

3. SAVE MONEY--Derek and I of course have a savings account, but I want to save for special things, family vacations, random big shopping sprees, or whatever we need at the time, and will not have to worry about it.

4. Dates with D--we do go out now, very rarely, but I want there to me more us time. Of course, having 2 kids doesnt allow for lots of alone time, and then I always feel guilty asking the parents or inlaws to watch them so we can go somewhere, but I know that time is needed between a husband and wife.

5. Special Kid Time--of course I got this idea from Jon and Kate Plus 8, (which may not be a great idea now) but they took thier kids on special trips. Derek took Ashlynn to see the Wiggles a couple of weeks ago, just the 2 of them, and she talks about it all the time! "Daddy took me mommy." She will remember that forever, and I want to create more memrories like that for her, and Braxton, when he is old enough!

6. Role Model-- I admit that I struggle at work, being professional all the time, and I do not enjoy what I do anymore, so it gets tough! Until God reveals another plan for my life, I want to be the role model that I need to be at the office.

7. More Involved at Church--I think that I need to begin volunteering at church. I am nto sure where yet, but I think that it is time.

8. Coupon-ing--is that a word?? I am beginning to learn how to do it, and its addicting! I want to learn more, and get really good at it!

9. Reconnect with friends--most of my close girlfriends are out of state, or a few hours away. I need that good support from girlfriends, who are close by. Maybe find a new group of friends?

10. Family Time--Derek works Monday-Thursday at night, so he is not home when me and the kids get there, so they really only see him Friday-Sunday, and some mornings. We take advantage of the weekends and spend them together, but I want to make the most of them...do new things...make lasting memories.

Top Ten Tuesday--Easy Recipes!

So most of these are not mine, but ones that I love! I thought I would share them, so us busy moms, single people, and even dads (haha) can make some easy dinners! Most are great for the fall wather too!

1. GG's Chicken--this is my grandmothers recipe, but O so yummy!

13x9 glass dish, sprayed
5-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
melted butter over the chicken
1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup on that
Sprinkle with crushed up cornflakes

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes!

2. Breakfast Casserole

1 pound of sausage
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup Bisquik
Shredded Cheese
2 eggs

Brown sausage, and put in dish
sprinkle cheese over sausage
combine milk, eggs, and bisquik in bowl, and pour over cheese

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes

3. Chili

Depending on how much you want to make, this is for 2 people

1 pound of ground chuck (turkey, beef, whatever you choose)
2 cans of mild chili beans
chili powder
red pepper
hot sauce (depending on how hot you want it)

Brown the meat, and combine with all in a crock pot for a couple hours, serve with cheese op top and crackers!

4. Chili Dog Nachos (OH MY)

5. Lasagna (my mother in law's recipe)

Ground Chuck
Ragu Sauce
Ricotta Cheese (add an egg to it for an easier spread)
Mozzerella Cheese
Lasagna Noodles

Combine meat with sauce, and place bottom layer in dish
top with noodles, uncooked
top with ricotta cheese, then sauce, then mozzerella, then noodles
repeat as necessary, depending on how big you want the dish

cover with foil
Bake at 375 degrees for an hour and a half (but check it at an hour)

6. Baked, stuffed pork chops (stolen from Rachel Ray), could also do with chicken!

8 thin cut pork chops
bread crumbs
3 eggs
flour
mozzerella slices

bring oil to hot in frying pan
take one chop, put cheese on top, and top with another chop
place in flour, then eggs, then bread crumbs
fry on one side for 3 minutes, then flip and fry on the other for 3 more

serve with rice and broccoli!

7. Sweet and Spicy Kielbasa

1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp spicy brown mustard
2 lbs of smoked, fully cooked kielbasa, cut into one inch pieces

combine sugar and mustard in crock pot, add kielbasa and coat to cover
cover with top and cook for 3 hours, until thoroughly heated
serves 12!

8. Crockpot Easy Beef Stew

4 medium red potatoes
1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
1/3 cup flour
salt and pepper
14 oz can diced tomatoes undrained
2 cups water
3 cups brozen stir fry bell peppers and onions (or whatever else you want)

cut potatoes into quarters
mix flour salt and pepper and toss with beef to coat
add tomatoes and water, stir
cover crockpot for 7-8 hours
add veggies and cook for 30 more minutes

9. Brownie Pie (couldnt resist a dessert)

9" pie crust
1 cup choc. chips
15 oz pkg brownie mix
1/3 cup water
1 egg
1 oz square semisweet choc. melted

sprinkle chips over pie pan
beat together brownie mix, egg, water and melted choc in bowl, pour over pie crust
Bake at 375 for 40 minutes, allow an hour to cool

DORA Live

HOLA! My mom and I took my daughter to see DORA on Saturday, at the Fabulous FOX Theater. It is a very old but beautiful theater. Ashlynn will be 3 in a couple weeks, so this was her present from us! Daddy did not want to go, so he volunteered to stay home with Braxton! It was a girls day! It started out on a trip on the MARTA, which she loved!

We got there early and waited on the doors to open. Noni bought her this swirling flashlight thing. She brought along her baby Jaguar. If you know anything about DORA, this is her cousin Diego's friend!

Then we went and got her a kids pack popcorn. She was so excited!

We were not allowed to take pictures of the stage, but I got one anyway.

The show began and Ashlynn was in utter shock! I don't think she could believe she was actually seeing allt he characters. She did not even open up until halfway through! It was an awesome show, and we cannot wait to go back!

2. FBI Agent--I got a degree in criminal justice, but now with kids, there is no way! Maybe one day!

4. Personal Trainer--First I would need to be in shape and lose about 50 pounds, but it sounds like fun!
5. Teacher--WHy didn't I get a degree in teaching? Summers off? Oh well.
6. Traveler, and then blog about it.
7. Photographer--I LOVE taking pictures...is that obvious!?
8. Life Coach--Im not good at counseling/coaching, but would love to do it!
9. Ultrasound Technician--again, why didn't I take a course??
10. Stay at home mom!

I know I am in the right place, or else I would not be here. God has a purpose for everything. Maybe one day things will change. There is always hope!

It was another great day at church yesterday. We are doing this awesome message series, and its really speaking to me. Yesterday was amazing. Shawn spoke about a woman in the bible who had "bleeding issues" for several years, and then was healed from them. No one ever knew about them, but she dealt with them for so long. A lot of us are like that. We hide our issues, no one knows of them, and we are broken because of it. The service ended with a song, by Bon Jovi, and it hit home. We are all broken. I am challenged with this daily! I hope the words encourage you!

4. Ashlynn loves gymnastics!
5. Braxton is already 5 months old!
6. Ashlynn will be 3 next month!! WHAT!?!?

9. My husbands job is scary...but he loves it, and I support it.

Yes, I have been so bad! Back at work:( That is why I havent't posted in so long. The work from home thing did not quite work out, but there is still hope! I just have to take it one day at a time. Maybe this is where I am supposed to be right now, and what I am supposed to be doing. I am back, and am really trying to keep this up to date now!

What has been going on in my life?

--Braxton is 5 months old today!

--Ashlynn started gymnastics this weekend, and LOVES it!

--Our church had its grand opening of the new building yesterday, and OH WOW was it awesome!

2. Went to Story time at Barnes and Noble, where they read Dora and Blues Clues Earth Day books.
3. Plant flowers that they gave out at story time.
4. Start to recycle in our house
5. Turn off the water when she brushes her teeth.
6. Shut the fridge door sooner!
7. Pick up trash
8. Change lightbulbs (that was a mommy idea)

Derek and I LOVE watching Food Network. I think it is about the only thing that we can agree on when it comes to TV. Today we were able to go to the Cooking Show at the Cobb Galleria, where Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, The Neely's and Tyler FLorence were. GUY is our favorite by far! We didn't buy any extra tickets to see these people, but just the general admission to see all the exhibits, etc. Anyways, we were outside feeding Braxton, and I looked up and there was Guy. I said Derek, there he is and he did not believe me. He turned around and saw him. I quickly grabbed the camera, and said lets go! We walked up to about 10 feet away, and he walked into a room...BOO! We were sooooo close to taking a picture with him, but it did not happen. It was fun anyway, but that would have been awesome!

I am supposed to be going back to work on May 26, but God willing, I will have a work from home job very soon, so I can work and stay home!

3. My cell sized office that I dont leave during the day.

5. DRAMA in the workplace
6. A bunch of women who can't get along!
7. Will have to rush home, get the kids, make dinner, etc

10. Stress on mom to pick up the kids (thank GOD she did it for the last 2 years)

I know, it sounds like I am whining, but I am praying that I will be able to stay home, and be the mom, wife, and working mom that I know I can be! Pray for me!

Here are some things my 2 year old does that I am amazed at! Maybe its just because I am her mother, but oh well!

1. Counts to 14
2. Knows her ABC's
3. Can name all of her immediate and extended family.
4. Counts to 10 in spanish!
5. Can sing Jesus Loves Me all the way through
6. Can get dressed
7. Can tell a knock knock joke
8. Will say, "I have an idea" and then tell me something that really is a good idea!
9. Memorizes all her books and movies.
10. Loves being a big sister more than anything, THANK GOD!

I as really worried about #10, but she has proved me wrong and is the best that she can be!

Easter Week

I LOVE Easter. I actually love it more that Christmas. This past weekend we went on an egg hunt, saw an Easter bunny, made some eggs, and had pictures taken of the kids. 1. Saying hello to Derek as he got home from work.
2. Rocking Braxton to sleep.
3. Telling Ashlynn to go back to her room until it was light outside.

I am at 2! We went to the doctor Wednesday and to my surprise, I was at a 2. I have been in real pain for a couple of weeks, just with pressure, but I was still shocked! Im hoping that this means it will go pretty quickly from here. I am officially out of work now! I have until May 26th. We go back Wednesday so I will keep you posted on Mr. Braxton's arrival!

NEW Year

Happy New Year! Well, I would not say it has started off too happy--the news I have received thus far!

*3 friends had miscarriages
*friends dog died
*sister in law gets in car wreck, while 9 months pregnant

Sounds like a great start huh? I guess the kind of good news is Ashlynn. Even though she started off the year sick, she is going to get an MRI done, to hopefully rule out anything that may have caused her to fall. They finally found a middle ear infection, which may sound horrible, but could be a blessing in disguise. We are praying that this is what caused her accident! She has been fine and normal ever since December 24th! We go to get her EEG on 1/17/09 and her MRI on 1/21/09. Please pray with us that these results are normal!

Im other news, Braxton is growing like a champ! We are starting to go every 2 weeks now, so it is getting close! I will post pictures soon of his nursery! Dont forget about the other sites as well!

Ashlynn got her first haircut today. We went to Sweet and Sassy Salon and Spa for KIDS! It is the cutest place ever. She did so well, and was so happy! Here is the grand finale! They only took half an inch off...I was nervous! Maybe we will do a little more next time.

I love this line in the song that we sing at church. I am always saying that now, with the economy like it is, the job that I do not love, etc. I am currently taking some online courses to do medical coding, so that I can hopefully stay home once Braxton comes along! I am halfway done and should be all the way done by February. After that I will just need to find a company to work for! I really like it, so please pray that it works out.

My dad is having knee replacement on December 29th. He will be in the hospital for 4 days! He needs this surgery though...even though he has tried to delay it!

I am having a lot of anxiety about Ashlynn and how she will react with Braxton. I know she will love him, and be great, but I worry that she will feel neglected. Any advise?

Greater things have yet to come...I hold this close to my heart!

At work we do a secret santa. We draw names, and put our "wishlist" on our door. The first two days we do $3 gifts, and then the final day we do a $15 gift. My first day I received 3 rolls of sweet tarts, all tied up in a bow! The second day I did not get anything...hmmm. So today. when we reveal who our santas are, I had a Starbucks bag. Inside was a $15 giftcard, and a travel mug! Not only did she get me the best giftcard EVER, but spent way over the amount! Thank you Giselle! I LOVE it!

Well, I am officially scared! I had a bad gut feeling about this election, but when I woke up this morning, I felt worse. I worry for us, our kids. The truth be told that somewhere in the next 4 years, we will see change. We have to remain calm, and know that God had this planned out...God has it under control, and he knows what we all need. ALthough it sickens me to think about things that could happen, I have to remember to trust Him.

I still do not support Mr. Obama, nor will I ever, unless he gets a miracle in his life, which is also a possibility!

Maybe we should move to an island!

I need help! Does or did anyone else have a terrible 2, when they turned 2? I feel like Ashlynn has turned into another child when she doesn't get her way. She will hit, kick, bite, and scream! I do one of two things. Ignore her when she is screaming for no reason, and then send her to her bed (for all of 5 minutes) and then she is fine, or she will get a tiny little pop on her bottom, with her diaper on, and think its the end of the world! With my mom, she has tried the kicking and biting, but not with Derek and I. Any advise?!?!?! This doesn't look like a mean kid does it!?

Today in church they exposed Elephant #3, which is, Why won't God fix it? First during worship, I began to cry. Tab lost his battle with cancer on Friday, and went home to his Heavenly Father. It has been a very rough weekend to try and deal with this. This message was so perfect today. God won't fix things because of two reasons. One, is that it will make us stronger, and the other is to make others stronger. I dont know why Tab lost his battle, but we know that he is not suffering anymore, and people will become stronger because of it.

Tuesday is his funeral, with full honor guard, bagpipes, 250 officers, and emotions that I can only imagine. Derek was by his side when he passed. He is also a part of the ceremony, so please keep him in your prayers.

You know when you feel like there is "stuff" in your life that you need to get rid of? Not just the physical things but feelings, grudges, emotions, etc...I have lots of stuff on my mind. It is such a variety, from work to the new baby to Ashlynn to people who are sick.

--Another friend of ours was just diagnosed with colon cancer at 37 years old.
--Tab is still in hospice, hanging in there
--The economy, and my job
--Personal issues
--Constant fears

At church we are learning about how and what to ask God. The series is called Exposing the Elephant, and its great. Go over to Shawns blog and read about it. He is awesome. We are looking at the book of Job, and honestly I should not even compare my life to his, but it puts things into perspective for you. I am learning, and growing from this...I hope you do the same!

The docs came in today and said that he may have about 3 weeks, but we believe he can be healed. He will not be put in hospice, but the pain will be helped by epidurals. He is saying that he is not going to die, and miracles can happen. Please pray for Tab...here are some wedding pictures from the other night.

Officer Down

Derek's best friend, and co-worker is dying. He has battled cancer for 3-4 years now, at only 40 years old. They called Derek today, and told him that he, Tab, was getting married tonight, and then being put in hospice. Derek is on his way to the hospital to be with him, and see him get married, which he promised his fiance that he would do before he left. My heart breaks for Michelle. I do not know how she can handle this right now. My heart breaks for Derek as well. He has known Tab for 6 years now, as they started on the force together, were mandated together, and now Derek had to see him slip away. His body cannot fight anymore, and his meds will all be gone after tonight.

Please keep his fiance, mother, Derek, and all the other officers that know and love him in your prayers. This is truely a loss for the county.

My nephew, wow that sounds so weird, is finally here! Abram David arrived last night by C-section after his mommy had lots of complications. Everyone is great now, and he is precious!!!

I am posting a day late, but I hope everyone had a happy 4th! We went to the park, where it was supposed to be a family fun type thing. WE got there to get good seats, and ended up being the only ones for about 2 hours, then people started coming. We watched this HORRIBLE local band, and just sat around. It was a good time to relax, but of course, as its getting really crowded, and almost time for fireworks, here comes the rain! We ended up at home, listening to the neighbors, blasting their lovely display! It was fun though...what did you do?

Pretty Princess Pageant

So I entered Ashlynn in the Pretty Princess Pageant, thanks to my friend Kim, who asked me to join her and her daughter. I am NOT a pageant mom! It was a no makeup, short contest, but very cute! They had a "fun wear" category, and a Sunday Dress one. Some of these mothers killed me. They had their daughters in prom dresses. I am proud to say that I spent $6 on her Sunday dress! Ashlynn didn't win but did get a trophy to take home. I think she will be sticking to the soccer, softball, gymnastics games!

I just read a friends blog about chick-fil-A and I want to agree with her! We went this weekend to get a quick bite, and take it home. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap, and it came in a big plastic box, already made, labeled, and was FILLED with lettuce, and maybe a piece of chicken. I was so disappointed, and it still costs almost $6.00 to eat and get a drink! FOR LETTUCE??? I do miss the old chick fil-A :(

I cannot believe how inquisitive Ashlynn is becoming. Yesterday she started this thing, where she will point and say "what's that?" and then I will have to tell her what it is. She does it about 500 times, then we start all over again. So cute. She also LOVES to say her prayers. The night before last she woke up twice, screaming, and we could not calm her down, then she went right back to sleep. I know it was a nightmare. She did it again last night, and I sat her up, and folded her hands together. I closed my eyes, said a prayer and then she said "mommy again." She would close her eyes, fold her hands, and just listen. She slept almost all night long!

We went to the zoo today, and had a wonderful time. Ashlynn is making all the animal noises, and running around, like an almost 2 year old. This makes me sad! She is getting so big, so quickly.

OK, so I haven't been very good at keeping up with this! I am a busy woman...what can I say! My mother in law turned the BIG 50 last weekend, so we had a surprise party to celebrate that. Her family came into town from Ohio, and she had no idea...I think! Here they are hiding in the bathroom!

Ashlynn got the stomach bug on Monday, so we were not allowed to take her to Nona's house until she was 24 hours fever free. She got up tp 103 degrees, which scared me to death! This is her the day after, acting like nothing was wrong!

Pollen....ugggggggh! Ashlynn woke up today with a horrible cough, runny nose, fever etc. We go to the doctor and they test her for strep. Of course its not strep! It's a viral bla bla bla throat thingy, and they say she is contagious. Great! She cannot go to her sitters until Monday. She has had 2 naps today which is VERY rare, so I know she isn't feeling great. I hate this time of year. We are the most sickly family when it comes to weather changes!

We are going to Disney World! We are so excited because it has been years for both of us, more for Derek though. Derek is competing in the international police and fire games in August and they are being held down there. Derek is getting paid to go! He will be competing in the track and field events, which is only 2 days, so we will have 5 days to do whatever we want. I will be able to see my friend Kellie who lives close to there, and her new arrival, who is due in May! We cannot wait to go. I know that Ashlynn will have a great time as well. Today went a lot better that I thought it would. Takeisha handled herself so well, and I was encouraged by her. She is an amazing woman. She has accepted this, and knows that God took her son for a reason.

I got home today and was so happy and grateful to see my little girl. God knows that I could not handle something like this happening to me. I thank God everyday for the things in my life.

One of my dear friends Takeisha, lost her son on Wednesday. He was only 2 years old and drown in the pool. She was my boss for 4 years, and also a friend. This is such a hard thing to deal with because I have my own soon to be 2 year old, who played with Xavier. The funeral is tomorrow, and it is something that I am not looking forward to. Takeisha is doing so well. I thank God that he has his hands on her. This is a picture of us, with my friend Kim and her daughter.

My grandfather passed away today. He was 86 years old but his health was fading. He lived a great life, but never got to meet his new great grandchild. He did see her picture though. I know that he can now see her everyday and watch her grow. He is in a better place, and we will see him again.

We are scheduled to go to the hospital tonight. They are going to induce me and then we should have her by some time tomorrow! It's about time right? Just say a little prayer that everything goes well, and Ashlynn is born healthy! We will post pictures when we get home!

THE FRUSTRATION FACTOR!!!

Well, I am still with child! We went to the doctor yesterday and of course, high blood pressure and protein in the urine. I had not dialated anymore, but they sent me to the hospital. Once there I was monitored for 4 hours, and everything looked fine, so they sent me home! I had to go back to the doctor this morning to get my blood pressure checked again, and it was 144/96. HIGH! They told me to lay down and they took it again...122/80! So, once again I am home, on bedrest, and have to pee in a jug all day Sunday and bring it in to them on Monday! How exciting does that sound??? I know you are all jealous! Im really hoping this baby is ready this weekend...another visit to the doctor is not fun! If she decides not to come then an induction is in the works for next week! Patience is a virtue right? HAHA!

PROGRESS BLOG!!!

I said that I wanted one, so here it is. I am 1 centimeter dialated!!! Woo hoo! I know that this could mean another couple of weeks, but hopefully not. Everything looks great, and she is in the birth canal...

I got some words of advice from a girl at work, and she said to squat and push! HAHA...I don't know if I will be doing all that, but we are excited that things are now progressing!

Only 2 weeks to go...hopefully not even that long! As of last Thursday, she has not moved down any, but I go back to the doctor on Wednesday! We are getting more and more anxious everyday, and this is my last week of work! I hope to be able to post a "progress blog" on Wednesday!

Dave is doing great. He is still in the hospital, but in the rehab floor, so he is getting therapy 3 times a day. It is wearing him out, but he is coping.

If you do not believe in miracles then now is the time to start! Dave has been moved into a private room, he is eating, drinking, and speaking! He even wanted a milkshake today! They are going to seal his back next week, and he could even be going home as early as next week! We are so thrilled that he is going to be able to meet his first grandbaby at home! Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers, and I am not asking them to stop, as he does have recovery to go through! He will have a long road ahead of him, but where he has come from is a miracle in itself!!! Baby Ashlynn is singing a Hallelujah!
